Collaborations

i.   Dr. C. Larbie: The HepatoRenal Research Group led by D Christopher  Larbie is in active collaboration  with the Dr.A.A. Oyagbemi  from  the University of Ibadan and Prof.B.O. Emikpe of University of Ibadan and KNUST School of Veterinary Medicine on various studies aimed at exploring the kidney and liver protective effect of medicinal  plant local spices and indigenous vegetables. The collaboration has  supported  the  training  of  2  PhDs  and  3  MPhil Biochemistry students.

ii.   Dr. L. J. J. Gowans

•  Genetics and genomics  research  on  Orofacial  clefts with  the  Butali  Laboratory, College of  Dentistry, The University of Iowa, Iowa City, Iowa, USA.

•  Genetics and genomics research  on craniosynostosis with  the  Cunningham  Laboratory, Seattle Children's Research  Institute/University of Washington, Seattle, USA.

•  Internal collaboration with Drs.Solomon Obiri-Yeboah and Alexander Acheampong Oti, as well as Prof. Peter Donkor of KNUST Dental School.
