The BSc. program offers strong theoretical and practical experience in chemistry, biochemistry and molecular biology with the goal of producing marketable professionals for research and industry.

Biochemistry Graduates of the Department have advanced to graduate schools; to work in reputed medical laboratories; pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies or regulatory agencies (including Food and Drugs Board and Standard Board) in Ghana. International students have also secured similar positions in their home countries.
